Feel the Heart.

As I sit here to write this, I have lost count of how many times I have been guided to “feel my heart” since waking up this morning. I feel the repetition is to create a new constant state of being within. I can currently feel the warm glow of love emanating from my heart space and it feels divine. In this beautiful moment, I have decided to share a teaching that will hopefully help to transform your life as much as mine is being transformed. It is perfect in its simplicity, but for some, as it was with me, it can take a little practice.

This simple teaching is just to take time, every single day, or whenever you feel guided, to just feel your heart. The important word here is “feel”. Don’t try to look in it or to “tune” into it, but just allow yourself to feel it. The heart, after all, is all about how we feel. But don’t try to feel love either. Don’t try to feel anything in particular. Just feel the heart and allow what is in that moment.

What do you feel? You may be surprised! We spend so long in our mind, thinking, remembering, calculating. Taking time to feel the heart not only gives your mind a welcome break, but more importantly, it allows you to really FEEL how you feel. The mind often plays tricks on us or becomes a place in which we hide from our true, uncomfortable emotions. How many times have you felt something that was uncomfortable and then immediately engaged the mind in some way?!

Feeling your heart will show you what you need to feel in that moment and, if you allow yourself to feel fully, it will also shift any emotions that do not resonate with the frequency of love, until you feel the warm glow of love emanating within you. This is how you heal, open and awaken to the true you!
